I have been looking online for praying mantis eggs/cocoons and seems all I can find it mail order. I'd like to find a local 'grower' since those mantids would be more specific to our zone/area. If anyone can help, please post it. Lady bugs would be ok, too......but there are not as many per egg sack/cocoon.

don't get the lady bugs! Once you get them started you will find them everywhere! I did not introduce them to our farm, but someone did and in the summer they invade the house and are a terrible mess.
