I've had this Chinese Maple Tree for over 12 years, it has always been a beautiful dark purple, and it's never changed with the season it always stayed the same over the years, and now it is changing to an orange, & yellow, is it sick, dying, the only thing I can think of, is we cut a few trees down that was dead beside it.. I really don't see any major bug damage.. just can't figure it out.. any info would help thanks..

I'm thinking it probably sustained some internal damage either in combination of weather conditions over the last coukle of years or simply because of the wind storm. ice combination that we experienced last fall and winter. This condition could have been exacerbated by a change in the immediate environment: for instance, did those trees you took out provide shade that is now absent? About the only thing you can do is keep it adequately watered to see if it may have enough reserves to survive.
