I planted 3 patches of cucumbers in different areas around my garden. The early crop has been VERY successful. I have been picking 5 gallon buckets full every other day. The 2nd and 3rd crop are doing terrible however. Almost every cucumber I am currently picking is moldy. I'm not sure what is going on. Might it have to do with the fact that much of this part of the garden has soil that remains damp? The soil isn't muddy, but it never completely dries out either. You will see lots of green moss growing in this part of the garden as well.
Please help.

Good thing you planted that early crop! With all the wet (and unseasonably cool) weather we have had this year, it is very likely that your garden's wet spot is loaded with fungi causing disease problems. Clean up really well removing all the plant debris--and consider changing the grade if you plan to replant next year so that it doesn't stay wet...

Yeah, I nead to do something. I hate seeing vegetables go to waste in my garden. Before they fully mature they will turn moldy.
Thanks for your help, Cindi!
