When I moved into my first house 3 years ago, my mother suggested planting liriope in the front and back yard landscaping at the edges. The problem is it is constantly multiplying, grows very fast, and is hard to control. If I left it unattended as my mother thinks I should, it will intrude into the rest of my landscaping. What should I do? Leave it to multiply or constantly pull the sprouting growths (as tedious as pulling weeds).

Wow... I would love to come pull some of it for you! I have a hillside that is difficult to keep mowed that would really benefit from some.
